FUFA Super 8:
- Entebbe UPPC 1-1 NEC
- Police 0-4 Kitara
Under the Hamz Stadium floodlights, two clubs with free-flowing football locked horns in a 2026 FUFA Super 8 contest.
Entebbe UPPC shared the spoils with NEC in a one-all draw before a lively crowd, during the second game of the doubleheader.
NEC took the lead in the opening stanza through James Jarieko’s far-post finish in the 34th minute.
Entebbe UPPC gallantly levelled matters when skipper Julius Poloto sent goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo the wrong way from 12 yards in the second half.
It was one game that fans loved to the brim given the intensity, passing mentality and free expression of players.

Both clubs were unfortunate to have players limp out due to knocks: Ahmed Amayo for Entebbe UPPC and Tonny Atukunda for NEC.
Either technical dockets made changes both in the first and subsequent halves to test out their different players.
The early kick-off witnessed Kitara triumph majestically 4-0 past Police.
Living Kabon, Patrick Henry Kaddu, Emmanuel Alex Wasswa and Jimmy Kalema found the back of the net past goalkeeper Sammon Oloka.
Police’s Congolese forward Bedia Ikamba missed a penalty after goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige dived to his right to tame a shot before reacting swiftly to stop the rebound.
