The Basketball team for St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde returns to the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Association (FEASSA) Games for the third time.
The 2026 edition is set to commence on Wednesday, 12th August 2026 in the city of Morogoro.

Ichut Agok, the team captain at St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde is optimistic about a gallant performance in Morogoro.
“We have been training well and all the players ready for the task at hand. We want to perform better than last year in Kakamega, Kenya” Agok, a combo guard remarked during the official flag off from the school.

The head teacher at St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde Joseph Kamya wished the players fruitful deliberations, urging them to remain diligent, disciplined and focused.
“Go and make us proud. Remember, every dribble and throw matters. Be disciplined and work hard. I wish you the very best” Kamya hinted as he handled over the Uganda and school flags to the team captain.

Agot aside, the school has other promising players as Joseph Ngaya (point guard), Sijin Makeny (forward), Chol Thon (small forward), Charles Chol (forward), Israel Ngakia (small forward), Choul Manyal (shooting guard), Gulain Amani (point guard), Mustafa Amulli (shooting guard), George Daudi (small forward), Young Yoch (forward) and Abui Machar (forward).

St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde is in the same group A; as St Michael High School (Uganda), ITS Kigali (Rwanda), Nsumba (Tanzania) and Lukenya School (Kenya).
Group B has Amus College School (Uganda), St Jude (Tanzania), FS Kamusinga (Kenya) and Juhudi (Tanzania)
Basketball is one of the eagerly awaited sports disciplines to be competed with both versions 5X5 and 3X3.

The Ugandan delegation was officially flagged by the state minister for sports Hon. Peter Ogwang at the National Council of Sports (NCS) in Lugogo, Kampala.
Most of the schools got travelling challenges accruing from undated travelling documentations for bus drivers.
