2026 FEASSA Games (Lacrosse)
Opening Day Results:
Girls:
- Juhudi SS (Tanzania) 04-15 Tororo Girls School (Uganda)
- St. Joseph’s Girls Kitale (Kenya) 20-09 Muzza High School (Uganda)
Boys:
- Juhudi SS (Tanzania) 03-21 Mumias Muslim (Kenya)
- Musingu School (Kenya) 13-10 Kigezi High School (Uganda)
The Lacrosse championship at the 2026 Federation of East African Secondary Schools Federation Association (FEASSA) got underway at the Highlands sports complex on Friday, 14th August.
There were four games played; two in either gender.
A total of 92 goals were scored in the four matches. Mumias Muslim’s 21-03 over Juhudi (Tanzania) produced the most goals.
St Joseph’s Girls Kitale humbled Muzza High School from Uganda 20-09 and Musingu High School overcame Kigezi High School 13-10 in a physically charged up duel.
Tororo Girls School produced Uganda’s only victory on the day, defeating Juhudi SS from Tanzania 15-04.
The games continue on Saturday, 15th August 2026.
Other games:
Besides Lacrosse, the other games being played include football, Rugby, Netball, Volleyball, Hockey, Athletics, Swimming, Cricket, Baseball & Softball, Tennis, Scrabble, Chess and others.
Secondary, primary schools as well as institutions for special needs children are all in action.
The official opening ceremony for the games is on Sunday, 16th August 2026 at the Jamhuri stadium.
