Vastly experienced Serbian coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic has returned to St George Football Club in Ethiopia.

The record champions of the Ethiopian football league appointed Micho for his third stint after inking a three-year deal until 2029.

Kidus Giorgis, who finished 6th last season, officially unveiled the celebrated coach at Sheraton Addis Hotel with the hope he will lead the club once again back to its glory days.

“St George Football Club is like home to me. I am happy to return for service. We need to get back (to the top) where we were,” Micho stated.

Micho previously worked with St George between 2004 and 2006 and 2007 to 2010, winning five Ethiopian Premier League titles, one Ethiopian Cup, and three Super Cup trophies.

Micho’s CV reads Zamalek, ES Setif, Al-Hilal, Orlando Pirates, Uganda’s record champions SC Villa and three national teams: Uganda, Rwanda and Libya.

He therefore returns with enough experience to soldier the club ahead.

Micho was instrumental as Uganda returned to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after over three decades of absence.
