Uganda and Tanzania dominated Beach Soccer at the 2026 Federation of East Africa Secondary Sports Association (FEASSA) Games in Morogoro city, Tanzania.

Uganda won four medals out of the possible six in this sport.

A gold medal for the girls’ team was spiced by two silver medals in both gender and a bronze for the boys.

Tanzania earned gold for the boys and a bronze medal for girls.

Uganda’s gold medal was attained by Standard High School Zzana, following a 6-3 victory over Sacred Heart Secondary School in the final.

The gold medal to team Uganda is a big boost to the reigning FEASSA champions have confirmed top spots in Netball, Table Tennis (boys and girls), Badminton (boys and girls), Scrabble (girls), Tennis (boys) and Soft ball (girls).

Kenya has captured gold in athletics and cross country, Rugby (7’s and 15’s), Hockey (boys and girls), Scrabble (boys) as well as Lacrosse (boys and girls).

Thursday (20th August 2026) had Swimming, Cricket and Basketball action with a FEASSA Sports Symposium held at Cate Hotel, Morogoro city.

The theme of this symposium is “Sports Talent Development pathways in East Africa: From school sport to regional and global excellence”.

The finals will be played on Saturday, 22nd August 2026.
