Crested Cranes forward Zaina Namuleme has parted ways with Rwanda Women’s Super League Champions, Rayon Sports barely two months after joining them.
The versatile player joined Rayon Sports at the start of July as the team prepared to play in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
The club did not do well, failing to go beyond the group stages, a performance that was regarded as an underachievement. The reason for the player to mutually terminate his two-year contract remains unknown.
Before joining Rayon Sports, Namuleme has played for Kenya Police Bullets before leaving when her contract expired at the end of last season.
In Uganda, she played for Kampala Queens and Makerere University, serving as a captain at the former.
The player has since returned to Uganda as she works on finding a new club either in the domestic league or abroad.
