The 2026 Buganda Masaza Cup quarterfinal dates have been confirmed by the Local Organizing Committee headed by Hajji Sulaiman Ssejjengo.
The first legs will be played on 13th September 2026 at four different venues, with the return legs on 20th September 2026.
First Legs
Gomba hosts Buddu in the epic first leg at Kabulasoke PTC Playground on 13th September 2026.
On the same day, Busujju will tussle against Butambala at Kakindu Playground.
Mawogola will face Kyaggwe at the Ssaza ground, and Bugerere will host Kyaddondo at the Ntenjeru Ssaza grounds.
Return Legs
The return legs to be played on 20th September 2026 shall witness Buddu against Gomba at the Kitovu Sports Arena, Butambala against Busujju at Kibibi S.S Playground, Kyaggwe against Mawogola at Bishops S.S Mukono Playground and Kyaddondo against Bugerere at the Wampeewo Playground.
The organisers shall confirm all the match officials in due course.
Bulemeezi, the reigning champion, failed to progress past the group stages this time round.
The Buganda Masaza Cup football tournament was revived in 2004 and has been a platform to showcase raw talents for clubs in the different divisions to poach on.
Players such as Farouk Miya, Yasser Mugerwa, Robert Odongkara, Ibrahim Kasule, Mikidad Ssenyonga, and others have all played this tournament.
