Premier League debutants make their home debut in the topflight when they host BUL at Bukedea Comprehensive sports complex on Thursday.
The hosts began their campaign in the 2026/27 season with a draw away to UPDF and will look to build on that against a BUL side that edged Express 1-0 in their opening match.
BUL will be slight favourites heading into the match given their experience in the premiership and quality but don’t expect an easy game.
“It will be a tough game as none of the league sides is a pushover,” said BUL coach Alex Isabirye.
The visitors will rely on lethal Swabir Mpasa who scored the decisive goal in the opening game alongside Denis Sewagudde, a student at Bukedea, Derrick Byabwachwezi and Martin Aprem among others.
In the late kick off on Thursday, Kampala rivals Express and KCCA lock horns at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo at 8pm.
Both teams made a false start to the campaign with the Red Eagles falling to BUL while KCCA were beaten by BUL.
