BUL FC secured a resounding 4-1 victory against league newcomers Ntugasaze in a Uganda Premier League encounter at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, on Tuesday.
The victory marked BUL’s third consecutive win in three matches, maintaining their flawless start to the campaign.
The Oil Manufacturers started on the front foot and broke the deadlock in the 10th minute when Swabiru Mpasa tapped home a precise delivery from Simon Achidi.
Three minutes later, Martin Aprem nearly doubled the host’s advantage, but his thunderous effort sailed just over the crossbar.
Against the run of play, Ntugasaze drew level in the 30th minute courtesy of a brilliant finish from Fahad Nsamba.
However, BUL restored their lead two minutes before halftime when Aprem made amends for his earlier miss, finishing neatly to send the home fans into wild celebration.
BUL continued their dominance after the restart, and Reagan Kalyowa extended the lead to three as the hosts cruised in spectacular fashion.
Achidi then put the icing on the cake, capping off a stellar individual performance with BUL’s fourth goal to seal a commanding victory.
The result takes BUL to the top of the UPL standings with nine points, while Ntugasaze remain rooted to the bottom of the log, still searching for their first point of the season.
