NEC have an opportunity to move joint top when they visit Mbarara City in Kamwenge as match day three comes to conclusion.
The Bugolobi based side travel to the west with perfect results so far; beating KCCA 2-0 in the opening match before overcoming Lugazi 3-1 in their last outing.
The match at Kamwenge is the first time this season that the Ankole Lions play away from Lugogo.
They are unbeaten in the past meetings with the Mbarara City side winning five of the six clashes so far [D1].
NEC, 4th on the log with six points from as many will play third game while this is Mbarara City’s second match this season after they missed out on match day two as their would be opponents Kitara were in the Caf Confederation Cup.
Mbarara City were beaten 1-0 by Police in their only outing so far and will hope to pick their first points of the season against the Leaders.
