2026/27 UPL (Match Day 4)

  • Mbarara City 0-0 Entebbe UPPC
  • KCCA 1-0 Kataka
  • Lugazi 0-2 Police

Entebbe UPPC and Mbarara City Football Clubs played to a non-scoring stalemate during match day four of the 2026/27 Uganda Premier League at Rwamwanja stadium on Wednesday, 16th September 2026.

These two clubs created several goal scoring opportunities but none could be converted to separate the contest.

The hosts came closest as early as the 20th minute when goalkeeper Denis Otim thwarted Brian Aheebwa’s shot after the latter was set up by the industrious midfielder Tom Kakaire.

Mbarara City’s Ambrose Arinda got cautioned for dangerous play onto Ibrahim Orit, a former Ankole Lions’ player towards the end of the opening stanza.

Newly signed goalkeeper Bashir Ssekagya was called upon to tame a free-kick from the visitors in the 63rd minute.

Aheebwa became the second player for Mbarara City to be booked in the 73rd minute.

The best chance for Mbarara City to break the deadlock fell to Rogers Mugisha but the crossbar came to Entebbe UPPC’s rescue.

Ssekagya was also called upon to deny the visitors once again with five minutes left on the clock.
