In a bid to beef up their forward line, thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA Football Club are lining up a possible bid to secure Congolese international Gedeon Bendeka, 27.
With proven poaching instincts, Bendeka harbours a rich vein of experience, having previously featured for Don Bosco (DR Congo), Kakamega Home Boyz (Kenya), Gor Mahia (Kenya) and recently AS Kigali in Rwanda, where he left after the expiration of his employment contract.
Bendeka is a known aggressive forward with awesome positional discipline and finishing prowess.
Kawowo Sports has established that whilst Bendeka is already in Uganda, Rwanda’s record champions APR are also reportedly interested in the forward’s treasured signature.
The big forward therefore has a decision to make given the offers on the table from the two giants.
The Lugogo-based club already has several offensive players on the team, such as Charles Lwanga, Sammy Raynald Ssebaduka, Kennedy Musereeo and Etienne Katenga, among others.
KCCA has had a torrid start to the 2026/27 season with a point fetched in the opening three matches.
The 1963-founded side faces Kataka during matchday four of the league on Wednesday, 16th September 2026 at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
