KCCA can’t afford to drop any points when they host premier league debutants Kataka at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo on Wednesday.
Brian Ssenyondo’s men have picked just one point out of a possible nine, scored no goal and failure to beat winless Kataka will surely call for a crisis meeting at Lugogo.
The thirteen-time champions lost 2-0 to both NEC and Express before drawing goalless at Kigezi Home Boyz but the fixture at home against Kataka presents an opportunity for three points and Ssenyondo fully understands the task at hand.
“We need to far more clinical in the final third and we promise to present ourselves in the best way possible,” said Ssenyondo who welcomes play maker Ibrahim Kasule, Emmanuel Anyama back into the squad after they missed the trip to Kamwenge.
In the past three meetings; all coming in the Stanbic Uganda Cup, KCCA have won two [D1].
Kataka have played two matches so far but have as many points as KCCA following the opening draw with UPDF at Nakivubo before they lost 4-1 to table leaders BUL at their own backyard.
Elsewhere, Entebbe UPPC makes a long trip to Kamwenge to face Mbarara City while Lugazi host Police at Najjembe.
