Uganda Premier League powerhouse Vipers SC has intensified contract negotiations with former KCCA FC forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe.
Reports suggest that the striker’s stint with Iraqi club Zakho SC has been cut short, prompting his return to the local top flight.
Sources close to Kawowo Sports reveal that talks between Ahimbisibwe and Vipers have intensified over a potential deal.
However, the Venoms face stiff competition from Ahimbisibwe’s former club, KCCA FC.
The Kasasiro Boys are also actively monitoring his situation as they look to solve their recent goal-scoring struggles.
Ahimbisibwe is a proven frontline presence in the UPL, having previously featured for UPDF FC, URA FC, and KCCA FC.
