Returning from a nearly two-month hiatus enforced by national team engagements, JACC made a resounding statement in the 2026 Cricket Uganda Women’s T20 National League Division Two, sweeping Tornado Bees with a pair of emphatic victories at the Jinja SSS Cricket Oval on Saturday.
JACC kicked off their productive return by securing a demolishing 134-run victory in the morning fixture before wrapping up a comprehensive afternoon sweep with a nine-wicket triumph.

Opting to bat after winning the toss in the morning opener, JACC posted a formidable 194 for eight in their allotted 20 overs.
Immaculate Nakisuuyi led the charge with a blistering 78 off 33 balls, boasting 13 fours and a six at a strike rate of 236.36. Rita Musamali added a composed 53 off 45 balls featuring seven fours, while Kevin Awino chipped in with 21 off 20.
The innings was further bolstered by 29 extras, comprising 25 wides and two no-balls.
Tornado Bees faltered in the chase, restricted to 60 for nine in 20 overs. Blessing Noeline Apio top-scored with 18 off 13 balls, but the batting order failed to build any meaningful partnerships. Lydia Mirembe spearheaded JACC’s attack with stellar figures of three for 10 in four overs, including two maidens.
Immaculate Nakisuuyi (2/10), Patricia Mukanza (2/18), and Briana Natukunda (2/3) supported her effectively. JACC’s disciplined fielding kept Tornado under relentless pressure, triggering a regular collapse of wickets from the fifth over onward.
The afternoon contest followed a remarkably similar script, though this time Tornado Bees won the toss and chose to bat first. Tornado was bundled out for a meagre 56 in 19.3 overs. Blessing Noeline Apio made six off three balls, and Angel Akesianut contributed eight off 27, alongside 20 extras.

JACC’s attack proved overwhelming once again. Jackie Lalam led the wicket-takers with two for 10 in two overs, while Jovia Mirembe, Mirab Kiiza, Immaculate Nakisuuyi, Lydia Mirembe, Briana Natukunda, and Patricia Iracha chipped in with a wicket apiece.
Requiring just 5.4 overs to reach the target, JACC raced to 59 for one to secure a nine-wicket win. Kevin Awino remained unbeaten on a rapid 31 off 18 balls with six fours, alongside Rita Musamali, who finished unbeaten on 22 off 14 with three fours. Jackie Lalam was the sole JACC batter dismissed, caught by Paula Mwebaza off Blessing Noeline Apio for a duck.
The twin victories provide JACC with a commanding momentum boost in Division Two, showcasing a potent mix of batting depth, bowling variety and airtight fielding that kept Tornado Bees pinned down all day.
In other Division Two action across the league, Africa Cricket Club similarly stamped their authority by completing a double over Nile Cricket Club, taking the morning match by 24 runs and sealing the afternoon encounter by a 10-run margin.
