KCCA Women FC have completed the signing of midfielder Kayesu Yuster Joan from Rines SS WFC on a three-year contract.
The versatile midfielder arrives at the Lugogo-based club to strengthen the central park, bringing a strong tactical mind, exceptional work rate, and playmaking ability to the Queens as they assemble a competitive squad for the upcoming campaign.
A dominant right-footed defensive midfielder, Kayesu’s game is defined by her composure, defensive discipline, and ability to transition play seamlessly.
Her capacity to break up opponent attacks and immediately initiate forward play made her one of the standout performers last season, where she recorded 10 assists and scored two goals from midfield.
Kayesu’s football journey began at the grassroots level in Bweyogerere with the Soccer For Life Foundation, where she developed her core technique before making her mark at Rines SS WFC.
Her arrival marks a significant statement of intent for KCCA Women FC, who secure one of the league’s most promising central midfielders to anchor their squad for the next three seasons.
KCCA Women started the campaign with a commanding 3-0 victory against URA Women. They will return to action on Saturday, September 26th as they lock horns with St Noa.
