The Uganda Cranes camp is now complete in Tunisia, with all 26 players present and fully focused as preparations intensify for Thursday’s crucial AFCON 2027 qualifier against Tunisia.
The team held its second training session in Tunis on Tuesday evening, continuing its preparations for the encounter scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi in Radès, Tunis.
With the entire squad now together, head coach and his technical team have the full group available as the Cranes fine-tune their preparations ahead of the assignment against the North Africans.

The Cranes will now use their remaining preparations to sharpen their tactical approach, work on set pieces and transitions, and ensure the squad is ready for the demands of facing Tunisia on home soil.
Thursday’s fixture at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebishould have been a major test in Uganda’s road to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, however Uganda being one of the hosts has already qualifiers for the AFCON finals.
Paul Put will have to use this qualifier as a testing for what will work for his team in the actually finals.
With everyone finally in camp, the focus is now firmly on the task ahead: Tunisia.
