Kitara FC management has confirmed that tickets for their CAF Confederation Cup first leg preliminary clash against Al Ahly have gone on sale.

Deo Kasozi, the club’s president flanked by CEO Joshua Atugonza and Marketing and Events Manager Andrew Kahwa at Grand Imperial Hotel, Kampala revealed that ordinary tickets will go for as low as Ugx. 20,000 and VIP Ugx. 100,000.

“This is the biggest game in the club history and we want to fill the stadium,” rallied Kasozi.

“The biggest attendance was around 15,000 spectators in the first leg of Mogadishu City and so with 17,000 allowed in according to CAF, we want to ensure that the 2,000 fans join and we fill the stands to capacity,” he added.

No physical tickets will be sold this time around with Kasozi confirming that there will be areas in place around Hoima City to guide on how to purchase online.

“This time, we shall not have any physical tickets but we intend to have areas with personnel in Hoima to help whoever finds difficulty in acquiring tickets online.”

The tickets have already gone online with only 750 VIP tickets available that will come with special treatment including a parking sticker.

Four Hundred Million bonus at stake

Kitara eliminated Somalia’s Mogadishu in the previous round with both legs played at Hoima and to get to the group stages, they must eliminate arguably the biggest club on the continent.

To boost the lads’ morale, Kasozi has promised a 400 million bonus to the team should they go past the record African club champions.
