Kyaggwe against Bugerere during the return leg of the semi-final for the 2026 Buganda Masaza Cup

Buganda Masaza Cup 2026:

  • Semi-final 2: Bugerere 0-0 Kyaggwe (*Kyaggwe qualifies to final after 1-0 on aggregate)
  • Semi-final 1: Butambala 0-1 Gomba (*Gomba qualifies to final after 3-0 on aggregate)

Kyaggwe will tussle Gomba in the final of the 2026 Buganda Masaza Cup on 31st October at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku stadium.

This fixture was confirmed after the second leg of the semi-final between Kyaggwe and Bugerere at the Ntenjeru Ssaza playground on Sunday, 4th October 2026 which ended goal-less.

The result meant that Kyaggwe qualified to the final with a 1-0 aggregate victory since the first leg result recorded at the Bishops S.S playground in Mukono last week.

Kyaggwe faces Gomba as the two sides take on each other for the first time in a Masaza Cup final.

Gomba beat Butambala 1-0 in the return leg of the semi-final played at the Kibibi S.S playground in Butambala district to make it 3-0 on aggregate.

This will be Gomba’s 11th final since 2004 as they chase an unprecedented 6th crown.

For Kyaggwe, this is their second final as they eye the first ever championship title in this annual tournament.
