- Angola 2-1 Malawi
Angola sealed match day of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Pamoja 2027 qualifiers with a 3-1 win over Malawi in Luanda on Tuesday October 6, 2026.
Angola opened the scores through Milson inside three minutes before Mabululu doubled the advantage late in the first half.
However, the lead was halved when Kialonda Gaspar put the ball into his own net, leaving them 2-1 behind at the break.
Angola made the points safe, though, as Miro added a third 20 minutes from the end to complete a convincing home victory and leave them unbeaten after their opening two qualifiers.
The victory takes Angola to four points from their opening two matches, level with Group B leaders Egypt, who are ahead of them by virtue of a better goal difference after the two drew goalless in the first game.
Malawi remain on three points after they were unable to build on their opening-day victory over South Sudan.
Angola next face back-to-back home-and-away fixtures against South Sudan in November, while Malawi will take on Egypt in their next two matches.
The next edition of the continental finals will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania from 19 June to 17 July 2027.
