Kitara Football Club registered a 2-1 victory on the road over debutants Kataka on match day 6 of the 2026/27 Uganda Premier League at the Bukedea Comprehensive School sports complex.

Kalema opened the scoring for the Royals after 57 minutes when he beat goalkeeper Solomon Okello from close range following a long ball from defender Benjamin Nyakoojo.
Asiki who had replaced Missi Ssemugera got the second, finishing from an acute angle inside the goal area after an inviting through ball from midfield maestro Frank “Zagga” Tumwesigye with a minute to full time.
In the second of the added minutes, Kataka pulled back a goal through Ssenkubuge but it arrived rather too late.
