Nile Cricket Club and Tornado Cricket Club shared the spoils as the Cricket Uganda Women’s T20 National League returned to Ndejje SS Cricket Oval after about four years without a national league match at the ground.

Both teams were chasing their first victory of the season after opening defeats. Nile won the morning encounter by nine runs before Tornado responded with a 44-run victory in the afternoon fixture on Saturday.

Nile were particularly searching for a win with their return to the women’s league count after missing out on the competition in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
