- Mbarara City vs Blacks Power – Rwamwanja stadium, Kamwenge 4pm
- Vipers vs Maroons – St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende 8pm
Following back-to-back defeats, Blacks Power seek a return to winning ways when they come up against struggling Mbarara City at Rwamwanja stadium in Kamwenge.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s men had a flying start to the season with three consecutive wins but have since cooled off significantly, losing their last two matches back-to-back to BUL (1-2) and Vipers (0-4).
They will look at this away fixture as a prime opportunity to bounce back against a side yet to pick a victory so far.
The Ankole Lions are struggling heavily, currently sitting in 16th place with only 2 points. They remain one of only three teams in the league yet to secure a single victory this season.
Reports also suggest that head coach Francis Mugerwa quit the side amidst interest in Sam Ssimbwa who has since refused to sign a contract over failure to agree on terms and conditions.
