SC Villa head coach Zeljko Kovacevic expects a different challenge from Police when his side hosts Mbarara City at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on Thursday.

Villa walloped Police 6-1 in their latest outing and will be clear favourites against the Ankole Lions who have won just one game so far this season – their recent game against Blacks Power.

However, Zeljko has warned against complacency and believes the Ankole Lions will be a different opposition.

“It will be a tough game because Mbarara held NEC to a goalless draw and they have very good transition and counter attacks,” said Zeljko in a pre-match interview.

“It will be a different game from the one we played against Police and it will be more difficult,” he added.

The Serbian hopes to maintain the same eleven that started against the Cops with youngsters also expected to get more game time.

Villa are unbeaten in seven league matches against Mbarara City winning six [D1] and in all competitions, they hold edge. [L3, W10, D2].

Elsewhere, UPDF visit KCCA at Lugogo while Entebbe UPPC are away to Kigezi Home Boyz.
