URA FC have mutually agreed to terminate their contractual relationship with head coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera, the club has announced.
Kintu leaves the Tax Collectors alongside his entire backroom staff following a difficult start to the 2026/27 Uganda Premier League campaign.
The departing technical team includes First Assistant Coach Godfrey Magoba, Second Assistant Coach Sharon Kizza, Fitness Coach Joshua Kigozi and Video Analyst Peter Creed.
In a statement, URA thanked Kintu and his staff for their professionalism, commitment and service during their time at the club.
“The club extends its sincere appreciation to Kintu and his technical team for their professionalism, commitment, and services during their time with the Tax Collectors,” the statement read.
URA also wished the departing coaches success in their future endeavours and continued career development.
Kintu’s departure comes amid a challenging run of results for the Tax Collectors, who had managed just one win in their opening six league matches, leaving them with four points and languishing in 15th place.
The club is now expected to turn its attention to finding a replacement as it seeks to revive its league campaign.
