The draw for the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2026 will be conducted on Wednesday, 4 November, in Cairo, Egypt, with the eight qualified teams set to learn their opponents.

Uganda’s Sand Cranes are also part of the draw, having defeated Burundi last month to qualify for the coveted tournament.

The other nations include hosts and defending Champions Senegal, Morocco, Ghana, Mozambique, Malawi, Angola and Mauritania

Draw Procedure

Two teams are seeded, and that is hosts Senegal, who will occupy Slot A1 in Group A. Mauritania, who were 2024 runners-up, will take slot B1 in Group B

POTS

The rest of the unseeded teams have been placed in three pots as seen below;

Pot 1: Morocco, Mozambique
Pot 2: Malawi, Uganda
Pot 3: Ghana, Angola

How it works

Draw starts with Pot 3, then Pot 2, then Pot 1. The first team from each pot goes to Group A while the second to Group B. Each group will be comprised of four teams.

The tournament will be held between 28 November and 6 December 2026 in Senegal, and the finalists will qualify for the 2027 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
