URA’s resurgence face desperate Kataka test in Bukedea when the two sides lock horns in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Sam Ssimbwa’s reign has the tax collectors pick maximum points in 1-0 wins over UPDF and Vipers and thus will be favourites against newly promoted Kataka who remain one of the two sides yet to win a league game this season.

The tax collectors, on ten points from eight matches also want to peel away from early relegation battles.

“For now, the target is to continue winning matches and move away from relegation woes and then set huge ambitions later,” said Sam Ssimbwa who will hope his forwards led by Denis Kisiriko, Nelson Ssenkatuka and Moses Aliro are lethal against a Kataka side that held Express to a 2-2 draw in their most recent outing at Nakivubo.

The league’s newbies will also draw inspiration from their 1-1 stalemate with record champions SC Villa early in the campaign.

Ali Sentamu who is among the leading goal scorers with 4 goals will be the key man Joshua Lubwama and the rest of URA defence must keep an eye on.

Kataka have only managed three points in the division and lie second from bottom on the 18-team standings.
