Victoria Series | Matchday 3
- Namibia 98/8 beat Rwanda 59 all out by 39 runs
- Uganda 94/3 beat USA 93/7 by 7 wickets
Uganda’s Victoria Pearls concluded the first round of the Victoria Series unbeaten with a commanding seven-wicket win against USA.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat first with the Victoria Pearls unchanged from the side that won the previous two games.
Uganda struck early, with the breakthrough coming from Malisa Ariokot (2/14), but the USA kept finding runs even as the wickets continued to fall. USA reached a psychological total of 93/7, with Asumin Akurut (2/18) and Sarah Walaza (1/16) among the wicket takers.

In the run chase, Janet Mbabazi (14) got a double-digit score before departing, but the hosts were never in trouble despite losing Proscovia Alako (7) for a single-digit score. Player of the Match Stephanie Nampiina (37) and the inform Rita Musamali (27) ensured the result with a 42-run partnership.
Uganda picked up their third win of the series, putting them on top of the four-nation tournament table.

In the morning game, Namibia put Rwanda to the sword to pick up their second win of the series and move into second position. Rwanda, valiant with the ball in the first innings, failed to keep the same intensity in the run chase.
The series takes a break, and the second round will start on Tuesday.
