Federation of Uganda Football Associations Competitions committee has set Monday 2nd July 2012 as the opening day for the domestic player transfer window and registration. According to the mail sent to Kawowo sports by the FCC secretary Decolas Kiiza , the primary (summer) window opens on 2nd July and ends on 23rd September while the secondary transfer window opens 1st January 2013 and ends on 31st January 2013 and it applies to all soccer divisions under the federation.
The statement from the FCC read, “Pursuant to Article 6 of the FIFA Regulations for the Status and Transfer of players and Article 4 of the FUFA Regulations for the status and Transfer of players, Fufa has set the registration windows as follows”:
Primary window (summer):
Start date: Monday 2nd/July /2012 (12.00 PM)
End date: Sunday 23rd/ September/2012 (11.59 AM)
Secondary Window (January):
Start date: Tuesday 1st/January/2013 (12.00 pm)
End date: Thursday 31st/January/2013 (11.59 am)
In a related development, the issuance of International Transfer certificates (ITCs) to those registered as professional players shall be made through the FIFA Transfer Matching System whether inbound or outbound.
