- Vipers 0-1 Simba
- Raja Casablanca 2-0 AC Horoya
Vipers have exchanged bottom place in Group C of the TotalEnergies Caf Champions League with Simba following defeat to the Msimbazi at Kitende.
DR Congo defender Henok Inonga Baka scored the all-important goal for the visitors in the first game under floodlights at Kitende.

The defender reacted faster to tap home after Muhammad Hussein free kick was headed in his path in the 20th minute.
Roberto Oliviera’s were dominant in terms of creating opportunities and should have scored more had Clautus Chama, Prosper Kibu, Moses Phiri and Burundi International Saidi Ntinbazonkiza took their chances.
For Vipers who have not scored a goal in seven matches, the best chance fell to Yunus Sentamu but reacted late after goalkeeper Aishi Manula spilled Milton Karisa shot.

The big concern for the Venoms who are now bottom of the group with a single point in three games will be the injury to Karisa who was replaced before halftime by Ibrahim Oriti.
In the other game in the group, Raja Casablanca overcame Horoya to maintain a grip on top with nine points from as many available.
Vipers’ next game in the competition will again be against Simba at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam on March 8 but before that, a league game away to Arua Hill awaits on March 1.
