The 2023 Inter-schools golf championship gives kids a chance to hone their competitive skills so they can improve their game and join major tours shortly as well as a platform to learn about all the opportunities golf offers, such as how to manage the course, organize events, and more.

The annual AFRIYEA National Inter-School Golf Championship will take place on Friday, 21st April 2023 at Toro club in Fort portal city.
At least 40 schools will take part in this event which is aimed at providing children with access to the game.

According to Isiah Mwesigye, the CEO of AFRIYEA Golf Academy, the tournament will also help uncover and realize the full potential of youngsters, and develop the abilities of advanced players.
The AFRIYEA national inter-school golf championship will lay a solid basis for future winners, the competition has significantly raised the bar for developing junior amateur competitive golfers.

The competitors in this competition will receive career coaching from a wide spectrum of professionals.
More than 40 schools from throughout Uganda, including both boys and girls, are anticipated to compete in the second AFRIYEA interactive golf championship.
The target group is schools; pre-primary and primary schools both public and private in nature.
