
Bell Lager has this afternoon handed over a cheque worth 295m to the Uganda Super League in fulfillment of its sponsorship commitment to the member clubs of the Uganda Super League. Bell, as part of a historic three year 2.5 billion sponsorship deal signed last month with the Uganda Super League, pledged to give the Clubs an annual direct cash contribution of 295m cash annually on top of its other commitments; kit provision, media support and other related support that add up to an injection of over 730m in direct annual support to the leagues.
“It is a commitment that we made because Bell Lager has consistently held a unique passion for the growth of local football. This association with the Super League is a chance for the brand to reiterate that commitment”, Innocent Tibayeita, EABL Marketing Manager Premium Brands said at the handover ceremony.
