Titus “The Rock” Tugume, will be the “Under Dog” going into tomorrow’s national light heavyweight kick-boxing title fight against showy Malik “The Hitman” Kaliisa at Kati Kati restaurant.
“I am ready for the fight and by the end of the day will be holding that belt,” Tugume said at the pre-fight press conference at weigh in at the venue of the fight today. “It will be my first major fight as a kick boxer and I am looking forward to it.”
Tugume will come face to face with the flamboyant Kaliisa, who has promised to crush Tugume’s jaws come tomorrow.
Kaliisa goes into the fight with 8 fights that include 8 win and 6 knockouts while Tugume is making his debut.
The winner will pocket 10 million shillings while the loser walks away with 4 million.
“I want to crush this guys jaw and twist it,” Kaliisa said at the press conference. “I am ready to teach this fellow a lesson.”
The fight is being promoted by famous designer and socialite Slyvia Owori. The event will also have several support fights and entertainment by Jackie Chandiru, Bobi Wine, Cheer leaders.
