African super middleweight champion Moses “The African Assasin” Golola, won the WKF intercontinental super middleweight title fight against Hungarian Andras Nagy, controversially at the People’s Square in Hotel Africana last night.
The fight that was officiated by Fritz Exenberg, World Kick-Boxing Federation, chief executive director and had the master of the ceremony of the night as popular
radio DJ Roger Mugisha announce the Ugandan kick fighter winner by a unanimous score of 49-46,49-46,49-46, but the Austrian world kick boxing boss reversed the same scores in favour of the East European fighter who showed during the five round dual that he was a better fighter on the night with Golola showing a few flashes of execellent skill infront of a huge crowd at the Hotel Africana.
But on a night that was filled with drama over the announcement of two winners with one judge from Kenya Otieno giving the fight to the European fighter a bitter sweet victory was handed to the Ugandan star, but with Golola’s fans and the Ugandan public expressing different views on who had won in a event that was given hype through out the week.
Exenberg, had to be escorted out of the arena by security officials after his decision, but Moses Golola’s body language did not convincingly show he was a winner on the night. Where you at the fight? Tell us what you think
