Germany based Ugandan Kick boxer, Ronald Mugula will have his first shot at a world title against Hungarian Andras Nagy on October 19 here in Kampala.
Mugula currently a European champion in the 75Kgs super middleweight has an impressive record of 42-10-6-22KOs.

The 28 year old has been doing kickboxing for nine years after switching from boxing in 2003, turning pro five years ago. The time Mugula has spent in Europe has exposed him to experienced coaches and serious fighter which has seen him

win major accolades in Germany and beyond.

Still on the lips of the Ugandans, Nagy is famously remembered for his Muay Thai fighting skill against Moses Golola last October. Mugula thinks its intelligence that will see him bring down the man who exposed Golola in front of the entire country

“When I look at Nagy, he can’t kick and poor at boxing, only good with his elbow,” Mugula said. “He (Nagy) was taking on someone who was tired, I am not tired and I train as a professional,” he added.

This will be the third international fight in a space of two years after the Golola- Nagy last year and the Golola-Szamboki, which both ended in defeats to the Ugandan.
