Toyota Buffaloes 22-18 D’Mark Kobs
Rhinos 12- 12 Makerere Impis
As the norm goes hard work pays it eventually paid off dividends for the Toyota Buffaloes as they emerged victors over the Kobs at Kyadondo Rugby club. This helped them cement their third place in the table standings and winning the ticket to the semi final play offs.
Philip Pario converted 5 penalties and a conversion while Alfred Bigic made the only try for the Buffaloes to beat the Kobs.
Though Kobs suffocated in the Buffaloes herd they fielded almost a second team as they rested their senior players for the colossal match with MTN Heathens next week and also in preparation for the semi finals.
Mean while on the other encounter at the Legends Club Makerere Impis may have remembered to cover themselves in the wee hours of the morning as they forced a draw game with the Rhinos as last week they picked up their first win in the league against the Mongers and they kept the momentum as they pushed forward looking for a second win but all was is in vain.
Mike Kasule and Keith Sseruyenge had tries for Impis as Ricky and James Musitwa had tries for the Rhinos respectively.
