Quaterfinal Fixture (Monday): 

Ndejje University (Uganda) vs GS Petrolliers (Algeria)

Uganda’s representatives in the African Volleyball Club Championships, Ndejje University have progressed to the quarterfinals of the African Volleyball Club Championships following their impressive debut at the games being played in Antananarivo, Madagascar. 

In the opening fixture for the Ugandan Champions, Ndejje registered a perfect start to the games with a 3-0 win over Burundi’s Les As on Thursday before falling to Kenyan opposition, Pipeline 3-0 who are also the tournament’s defending champions. 

 The Ugandan side, resurrected in the third group game on Sunday with a convincing 3-0 victory  over Manga, a side from Gabon (27-25, 25-12, 25-14) to book a date with another Kenyan side, Prisons. Manga had lost to Kenya’s Pipeline  3-0 with  25-17, 25-11 and 25-9.
