The Prison spears team was dominant throughout the duration of the game played at Kyambogo University play grounds. Alice Nakafero and Silvia Nanyonga added 7 and 5 goals respectively in the white wash of the inexperienced Evergreen side.
Evergreen, who were missing most of their players due to the holidays of university students relied on the services of their experienced guards in Alice Atukwase and Jacinta Nassanga who scored three goals apiece to give the scoreline a respectable appearance.
In the first men’s game of the day, Police Metro continued with their impressive run beating Police Kifaru 38 – 26. The inform Metro pushed up to 3rd position with 6 points while Kifaru stayed 5th on the log with just 2 points from the 5 games played so far. Semujju Frank led the demolition with 13 goals while Asuman Numba and Aziz each added 6 goals. Kisalita Isma and Kangala Imran top scored for Kifaru with 8 and 4 goals respectively.
In the last action of the day, it was a nail biting game as Ever Green took on Prison Spears. The game started well with Ever Green doing all the attacking and defensive moves right that kept Prison thinking what they had to do to break through. Tension went all the way to the last whistle and only 2 mistakes cost Ever Green hence losing by 2 points.
