SC Villa will hope to keep their chances of clinching this season’s League title alive as they make a trip to Bombo to face UPDF FC on Saturday.
The fixture pits two teams that have different ambitions. Whereas the Jogoos are within sight of the League crown, their counterparts UPDF FC on the other hand are fighting to fend off relegation.
To keep the League hopes afloat, Villa must win in Bombo and hope results from the other title chasing teams (BUL FC, Vipers SC and Kitara FC) turn out in their favor.
A comeback victory against (3-2) Wakiso Giants on Wednesday should be a motivating factor for the Blues.
Equally, the Army side are in for a must win affair against SC Villa on Saturday.
A loss to Villa will confirm their relegation to the second division (Betpawa Big League).
SC Villa is fourth on the table with 48 points, one behind joint leaders BUL FC and Vipers SC.
UPDF FC on the other hand are second from bottom on 21 points, four behind the survival level.
