Agaba Diana / Nammanda Josephine beat Alupo Christine / Busingye Peace (2-0) 21-17, 21-16

Nsubuga Hannington / Omedo Isaac beat Otim Dickens / Okello Ambrose (2-0) 21-16, 21-18

Hannington Nsubuga and Isaac Omedo’s pair dethroned Dicken Otims and Ambrose Okello in two straight sets (21-16 and 21-18) to win the Lido beach volleyball Castle Lite tour over the weekend.

29 teams entered the Sunday games availing a good arena for the technical crew to finalize Team Uganda selection in preparation for the November 16-17 Castle Lite International that Lido Beach is hosting for the 8^th year running.

“The level of competition was great and we hope for the best in the November event”, Mofata Masaba of Uganda Beach Volleyball Association spoke of the event over the weekend.

The President Uganda Volleyball Federation Mr. Nasiwu Sadik presided over the awards ceremony where top performers received cash and accolades from Nile Breweries.
