The round of 32 of the 2014 Uganda cup bounces back this Tuesday with five games on card scheduled at different venues.
Record winners Express fc are set to search their 11th trophy as the Red Eagles visit Hope Soana today in Mutungo, Kampala.
Steven Bogere coached Sports Club Villa, who last won it in 2008-09 season, hosts Buganda region outfit, Sseeta United at Nakivubo stadium.
At Bweyogere police ground, Kireka United will be up against 2011-12 runner-up Vipers while, Bul-Bidico hosts FUFA president’s Mutundwe Lions at Kakindu stadium in Jinja.
2011 champions Uganda Revenue Authority hosts Hope Doves at Metha stadium in Lugazi.
2002-2003 runners up Police FC, Lweza FC, Jinja Municipal Council and Wandegeya FC are already through to the round of 16.
The Uganda Cup was first held in 1971. The current holders are SC Victoria University who clinched their first cup title by defeating Vipers SC 5-3 on penalties after the match had ended 1–1 after extra time in the 2012-13 final.
Express FC holds the record number of wins with 10 cup titles, followed by rivals Kampala City Council FC and SC Villa who each have won 8 titles.
The winner of Uganda cup represents Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup.
