St. Mary’s Kitende delivered a commanding performance on Thursday evening, securing a resounding 4-0 win over Algeria in the CAF Africa Schools Championship.

Goals from Nabir Kajjumba, Henry Muhoozi, Livingstone Kulata, and Pius Kabenge sealed the emphatic victory for the Ugandan side.

Kajjumba opened the scoring in the 12th minute, giving Kitende an early lead in what was an intense end-to-end encounter.

Just six minutes later, Muhoozi doubled the advantage with a stunning finish, putting Hassan Zungu’s side in a comfortable position.

Kitende went into the break leading 2-0 after dominating a high-intensity first half.

Five minutes into the second half, Kulata made it 3-0 before Kabenge wrapped up the scoring with the fourth goal, completing a clinical display.

With the victory, Kitende now turns their focus to South Africa in their final group game of the championship.
