Coach Sheryl Botes has named a provisional squad of 37 players to begin preparations ahead of the U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers slated for next month.
The Teen Cranes of Uganda will take on Zimbabwe in the first round of the qualifiers, with games scheduled to take place between 10th and 19th April 2026.
The squad comprises players who featured for Teen Cranes last year and are still eligible to feature in this year’s edition. These include: Ritah Anitah Nambuusi, Justine Ayerango, Shadia Nabirye and Cynthia Kirenga, among others.
