FUFA judicial body has ordered the FUFA Women Cup encounter between She Corporate and Kawempe Muslim to be replayed.
The closely contested quarterfinal encounter ended 1-1 and went straight into post-match penalties instead of the extra time as the rule states.
Kawempe Muslim petitioned the FUFA Disciplinary Panel (FDP) crying foul that the referee hardly followed the FUFA competition rules to the dot.
Following the petition, the centre referee in charge of the game was invited by the FDP and he admitted to making a regrettable error.
After thorough scrutiny, the FDP has concluded that there was violation of the FUFA Competition Rules and so the result is nullified.
Going forward, the two sides will lock horns in a 30-minute extra time that was ignored in the previous game. The venue, date and time will be confirmed by the FUFA Competitions Department.
The winner will take on St Noa or the winner between Uganda Martyrs and Amus College in the semifinal clash of the ongoing campaign.
