Arthur Arinaitwe returned an impressive 65 nett to emerge as the overall winner of the June MTN Monthly Tee at Entebbe Golf Club on Saturday.
With victory in the second Quarterly Tee, Arinaitwe assumed the lead in the Order of Merit with 420 nett through 6 rounds, taking over from Said Kirarira, whose 68 nett on the day kept him in second position with a total nett 421.
In third spot in the Order of Merit is Ssubi Kiwanuka, who returned 69 nett on Saturday for 439 nett over 6 rounds.
The Quarterly Tee, which saw 194 take the course, was also used as a fundraiser for MTN-sponsored South African-based professional Ronald Rugumayo who has two upcoming tournaments next month in Spain (Fred Olsen Alps de La Gomera scheduled for 3rd – 5th July) and Morocco.

Playing her first MTN Monthly Tees this year, two-time Lady Order of Merit winner Bridget Basiima claimed the ladies category with a fine score of 67 nett.
