Ibrahim Kirya returns to Villa Credit: John Batanudde

For the umptieth time, Ibrahim Kirya is back at SC Villa as the club officially released their full staff for the 2025/26 season.

The former Villa striker has been named assistant coach to Serbian Kovacevic Zeljko, a position he has held several times at the club deputizing former head coaches Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, Paul Nkata, Moses Basena and many others.

Kirya who has spent a couple of seasons at BUL is joined by Peter Onen in the assistant roles with Sam Kawalya the goalkeeper coach, Ram Mpuuga the team Fitness coach and Hakim Ssenkumba the youth coach.

Others on the technical staff include Samuel Tusingwire as performance analyst, Syson Taremwa the team doctor, Thomas Orone as team physiotherapist and long-term serving kits man Fred Kalibbala.  

SC Villa ended last season in sixth position with 45 points miserably failing to defend their 17th record extending crown.
