Car Tribe official receives the CSR award

Early this year, over 250 members of CarTribe Uganda handed over an assortment of scholastic materials to the children and parents at the Police Children Primary school, Kibuli in Kampala. In the same vein, Car Tribe Uganda was also actively involved in community building initiatives during the 44th Tahere Sita army celebrations around Kampala city as they joined the UPDF army officers and men in communal cleaning (Bulungi Bwansi), health programs (blood donation), environmental conservation and empowerment of vulnerable groups.

Car Tribe Uganda, a pioneering community organization uniting car owners, mechanics, and dealers received the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award for the year, 2025 in recognition of their bold efforts towards supporting humanity.

This CSR award was handed over during the recent NCBA Auto Show Kampala hosted at Kololo Ceremonial Independence Grounds.

In particular, Car Tribe Uganda was recognized for the bold strides and significant contribution towards the improvement of education for the children of police officers and the general welfare of the people.

Early this year, over 250 members handed over an assortment of scholastic materials to the children and parents at the Police Children Primary school, Kibuli in Kampala.

The items donated included exercise books, pens, pencils, colour pencils, rulers, geometrical sets, school bags, washing soap, sanitary pads, brooms and others.

The handover of these items was witnessed by the Minister of Kampala and Metropolitan Hajjati Minisa Kabanda who was flanked by the Kampala City Assistant RCC Hajjat Zulakia Mubiru Musa.

In the same vein, Car Tribe Uganda was also actively involved in community building initiatives during the 44th Tahere Sita army celebrations around Kampala city as they joined the UPDF army officers and men in communal cleaning (Bulungi Bwansi), health programs (blood donation), environmental conservation (tree planting, collection of solid wastes) and empowerment of vulnerable groups.

Phillip “Nzela” Ssendagire, the chairperson of CarTribe Uganda expressed delight about the award that also grants them satisfaction for the work well done.

“We are very honoured for the CSR award given to Car Tribe Uganda” Ssendagiire remarked. “We vow to remain attached to the community support projects and other initiatives that develop the youth in all ways” he added.

For starters, Car Tribe Uganda unites car owners, mechanics, and dealers to boost innovation and sustainability in the automotive sector.

Initially, the group started mere lovers of Subaru cars who united for the sake of having fun. Now, there are deliberate efforts to change perceptions about Subaru drivers to make a real difference in the lives of children, women and the other people in general.

In fact, members of Car Tribe Uganda are more than just thrill-seekers; they are active contributors to society.

Their headquarters are located on Cooperative Plaza, Nkurumah road in Kampala city.
