Overview:
The items donated included exercise books, pens, pencils, colour pencils, rulers, geometrical sets, school bags, washing soap, sanitary pads, brooms and others.
Car Tribe Uganda, a pioneering community organization uniting car owners, mechanics, and dealers made a significant contribution towards the improvement of education for the children of police officers.
This group that has over 250 members handed over an assortment of scholastic materials to the children and parents at the Police Children Primary school, Kibuli in Kampala.
The items donated included exercise books, pens, pencils, colour pencils, rulers, geometrical sets, school bags, washing soap, sanitary pads, brooms and others.





The handover was witnessed by the Minister of Kampala and Metropolitan Hajjati Minisa Kabanda who was flanked by the Kampala City Assistant RCC Hajjat Zulakia Mubiru Musa.
“This is a great gesture from the Car Tribe Uganda members. You are doing a commendable job that would have been done by the Government of Uganda. Your contribution to the development of the education sector will therefore remain significant” Minister Hajjat Kabanda stated.


Phillip “Nzela” Ssendagire, the chairperson of CarTribe Uganda emphasized that the drive is about giving back to the children of the gallant officers and men who serve and protect the general population.
“We delivered the materials to the children of police officers at Kibuli. Over 250 children of police officers stationed across the country are targeted. This is not to suggest that police officers are incapable of providing for their children, but we are simply topping up on their efforts. We chose the police officers because of our unique connection with the police. They are always on the road monitoring and guiding us, so this is our way of showing appreciation” Ssendagire who was joined by other members remarked.
After the handover of the items, there was a fun-filled car drifting exhibition on the Police Children primary school playground that thrilled many.





For starters, Car Tribe Uganda unites car owners, mechanics, and dealers to boost innovation and sustainability in the automotive sector.
Their headquarters are located on Cooperative Plaza, Nkurumah road in Kampala city.
Car Tribe Uganda has already been engaged in a number of campaigns in the community as communal cleaning (Bulungi Bwansi), health programs (blood donation), environmental conservation and empowerment of vulnerable groups.


What started as an effort to change perceptions about Subaru drivers is now steering towards making a real difference in the lives of children.
The group hopes this act of kindness will remind the community that they are more than just thrill-seekers; they’re active contributors to society.
