Fri, 24th Oct 2014: Rwenshama Vs Sadolin – Mityana Ssaza grounds, Mityana

Rwenshama and Sadolin are two of the 3 Uganda Premier League debutants (Lweza F.C is the other). Whereas Sadolin has already registered one victory in 5 games (1- 0 over defending champions, KCC), Rwenshama remains one of the two teams yet to register maximum points in a Uganda Premier League fixture (the other is Soana F.C).

Rwenshama head coach, Shafik Bisaso (formerly at relegated Proline Soccer Academy) believes in holding onto possession to unlock mean defences, a strategy that has so far failed to yield fruits.

Patience in modern football is key, we shall pass that ball until we have the final opening.

With the club’s record signing, Gaddafi Kiwanuka yet to feature in the league due to injury, Mike Katende, Moses Okello, defender, Rogers ‘Modest’ Aloro and goalie Hannington Kalyesubula are expected to help Rwenshama gallantly fight for the first victory in as many games.

Sadolin on the other hand is expected to build onto last Friday’s home victory over KCC in an aim to register the club’s second win of the season.

Former Baza Holdings striker, Umaru Ngobi, lanky forward, Davis Kasirye (previous with URA F.C) will lead the quest for Sadolin’s goal surge as midfield gem, Peter Katumba makes a return to the side after an injury layout.

At the heart of the Sadolin back-ine, the no-nonsense dreadlocked defender, Desmond Kyobe will strive to keep a clean sheet for the Jinja based team.

Sadolin head coach, Musafiri Muzamiru is aware of each team’s away threat though believes it is time his team registered another victory.

“Teams want to fully utilize their home advantage but we shall give it a go for maximum points”, Musafiri told Kawowo Sports.

A win for either side will be a welcome breather towards the early fight against the relegation monster that will see three bottom teams at the close of the 2014/15 season demoted to the FUFA Big league.
