The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) is further cementing self since the Cyrus Mark Muwanga administration took over the leadership.

Excellent corporate governance remains a key pillar in management and it is one pillar that Muwanga is fast back tracking.

Prior to the prestigious 2025 Uganda Open Table Tennis Championship, the UTTA administration has big giant strides with the luring of key partners.

The host venue (Kabojja International School) is a very key partner for this three-day championship that will entail singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team competitions.

The latest partner is Lakhani Motors who have contributed a modest Ug.Shs 10,000,000 to ensure the smooth operation during the championship.

“As we assumed office, the promise was to attract as many partners as possible. Lakhani Motors is a huge boost to the tournament and we believe in giving our partners real value for money. Therefore, we shall wear Lakhani Motors branded T-Shirts during the tournament” Muwanga spoke.

The package was received at Kyambogo in Kampala on Monday, 3rd November 2025, handed over by the company’s sales manager Muhammad Ayub Lakhani.

“Since we started the Lakhani Motors business in March 2005 with small capital. We are paying back for the unwavering support from Ugandans and we have grown into one of the biggest car dealers in the country” Lakhani revealed.

Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) has had a very busy schedule in the past months with the World U-12 Hope Championship in Sheffield city, United Kingdom and the 2025 ITTF Africa Seniors Championship in Tunis, Tunisia.

Now, the Table Tennis team is part of the Uganda delegation at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh city.
